Pop, Corn & Grace Community Radio will be back on the airwaves for a special virtual Carol Service from Thursday December 8, when the carol service will be streaming across the internet and social media.

Celebrate the true meaning of Christmas from the comfort of our own home!

Pop, Corn & Grace is a Christian community radio project (now in its fourth year) based across communities around Aylsham. Pop, Corn & Grace normally broadcasts live from Aylsham Parish Church for a week during the summer, but this year organisers also thought they would try something new using technology and the skills learnt from creating radio shows to create a 'Fresh Expression' Carol Service.

The Carol Service brings together local schools and young people as well as members of the twelve Church communities that are part of the Aylsham and District Team Ministry, and celebrates the many gifts they each offer.

Highlights include: contributions from Buxton Primary School Choir; Cawston Primary School; Aylsham Parish Church Youth Group and After School Club, and the Bishop of Lynn. Music, readings, reflections and humour are gathered together to bring the story of Christmas alive in a creative and new way.

Revd Canon Andrew Beane, Team Rector said

"What's remarkable about this project is that each part has been crafted together separately and then brought together to celebrate all that our Churches offer. It's fantastic to see the skills that all ages learned and used together over the summer being used once again to share the Christmas story and to celebrate the birth of Jesus. So:- tune in, relax, and celebrate Christmas with us.”

You can listen anytime from 9am on Thursday December 8 at www.norfolkchristian.media/ or download the service as a podcast.
