Children & Families

Children are an important part of our Church families across our Team.  As churches, we aim to support, guide and encourage them in their journey of faith. We recognise their needs and celebrate the many gifts each of them have to offer, as uniquely created in the image of God.

Across the Team, there is a wide array of provision for children and young people.

Aylsham Parish Church

Our Sunday Club meets weekly, apart from the 4th Sunday when everyone worships together at our informal All Age Service. Each week at Sunday Club our children's team share a variety of activities, songs, stories, & creative prayer. Recently we've enjoyed creating banners, altar cloths, kites, tie-dye T's, edible treats, canvases & so much more. For younger children we have a Children's area to explore with toys, craft materials and books.

Children and young people regularly take an active part in our weekly worship whether through serving, leading prayers, drama, or playing in our music group.

Our After School Club 'Make & Take' meets weekly and offers a variety of crafts, activities and games for children, with at least one activity to take home each week.

Our Baby & Toddler Cafe 'First Steps' meets weekly on Thursday mornings and offers a variety of crafts, toys, songs and space for parents.  Find out more by following 'First Steps' on Facebook

We host a number of Children's Activities throughout the year including our Teddy Bear Zip Wire, Light Party, and our regular Family Activity Days. These Activity Days are held during the school holidays and offer more fun, games & crafts for all ages to enjoy!

For children visiting the Church we have an interactive Church Trail which invites them to explore and discover our beautiful Church, along with its life and worship.
