"Worship lies at the heart of the Christian life. It is in worship that we express our theology and define our identity. It is through encountering God within worship that we are formed (and transformed) as his people. One of the glories of the Church of England is its liturgical worship." From the Church of England Website
Aylsham Parish Church sits in the broad central tradition of Anglican worship. We reflect the life of our Church through our worship which is welcoming & friendly, intergenerational and blending together traditional, modern and contemporary styles.
Sunday 8:00am is a quiet, reflective service of Holy Communion using traditional language
Sunday 10.15am brings together a choral tradition with modern language worship and a blend of traditional and modern hymns. Our Children's Club meets each Sunday during term time and offers activities, crafts and games for school aged children, along with a crèche for younger children.
Once a month our Sunday 10.15am takes the form of All Age Worship which is a more contemporary style of worship. Music is led by our worship band and the service includes different elements such a creative prayer, drama, video and image.
Sunday 4:00pm is our monthly Choral Evensong Service using the Book of Common Prayer to create a beautiful blend of traditional music & liturgy.
Throughout the year special services and events mark the liturgical year and the Church's changing seasons. You will find information about these forthcoming events on our homepage, and our Facebook Page.
