The Liz Jones Memorial Fund for Young People
The Liz Jones Memorial Fund for Young People was set up in memory of Liz Jones, Churchwarden and Town Councillor in Aylsham. Liz had a passion for community, young people, and faith. The Fund was set up by Aylsham Parish Church following the number of donations given in memory of Liz at her funeral.
The Fund has three aims
- Creation of community apprenticeship
- Support of projects/facilities/ for young people (9-25)
- Grants to young people to gain life experiences outside Aylsham (9-25)
The Liz Jones Memorial Fund is a Restricted Fund under Charity Law administered by Aylsham PCC. The PCC is a Charity under the Charity Commission's Excepted Church Charity Programme and therefore the Liz Jones Memorial Fund for Young People is eligible for Gift Aid.
Applications for grants can be made to the Incumbent and will be decided upon by a group appointed by the PCC.
